Reza Masroor, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones, granted the operation license for the first phase of the Mirjaveh Special Economic Zone to "Abdul Hakim Rigi," the CEO of the zone.
According to Freena, the Mirjaveh Special Economic Zone, covering an area of 378.5 hectares, is managed by the private company "Investment and Development of Mirjaveh Special Economic Zone." With the issuance of the operation license for the first phase of this zone, covering an area of 57.47 hectares, the permit to receive land documents for this phase and the investment license have been granted.
According to Freena, it is worth mentioning that the Mirjaveh Special Economic Zone, adjacent to the official Mirjaveh border with Pakistan and the Indian subcontinent railway to Iran, is considered a very suitable location for the transit and export of various goods and energy to Pakistan as part of the large East Iran Corridor project.
