The head of the Tourism Development and Travel Services Headquarters of the country's free zones, in a meeting of the Tourism Development and Travel Services Headquarters held with the presence of the cultural deputies of the regions, announced the notification of the "Executive Directive for Organizing and Enhancing Travel Services for Nowruz 1404" to the free zones.
According to Freena, Mehdi Mazinani, in the meeting of the Tourism Development and Travel Services Headquarters of the free and special economic zones, announced this news and added: This directive addresses topics such as planning and headquarters actions, construction and infrastructure, strengthening supervisory actions, public services, security and law enforcement measures, cultural actions, and enhancing social vitality.
Mazinani, referring to the fact that one of the sections of this directive is "Planning and Headquarters Actions," said: In this section, emphasis is placed on the continuous holding of the executive coordination meetings of travel services at the level of free zones and pursuing its goals and duties in accordance with the resolution of the Council of Deputies and the Central Travel Services Headquarters of the country.
The Deputy of Cultural, Social, and Tourism Affairs of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones referred to the "Construction and Infrastructure Actions" mentioned in this directive and said: In the "Construction and Infrastructure Actions" section of this directive, special attention is given to the round-the-clock readiness of the colleagues of the free zone organizations and preparing tourism spaces, parks, and public places for the utilization of Nowruz travelers and, if necessary, creating temporary and emergency accommodation conditions, organizing pathways, furniture, city and village landscapes to create visual tranquility for residents and tourists, and preparing mosques and roadside places for performing the prayer duty and resting of Nowruz travelers.
Mazinani mentioned the suspension of non-essential construction projects if they cause inconvenience to travelers and tourists as another item mentioned in this directive and added: Making the necessary predictions for the rapid reopening of routes and providing aid to Nowruz travelers considering the possibility of cold weather and snowfall and rain, the readiness of the regional crisis management coordination council to deal with potential unforeseen incidents and accidents, addressing potential deficiencies and operating fuel stations at maximum capacity, including gas stations and CNG stations within cities and roads and communication routes, facilitating the movement of compatriots on routes leading to recreational and tourist centers, and assisting in the implementation of the traffic police plan within 30 kilometers of the entrances and exits of the areas to reduce accident statistics are other topics of the construction and infrastructure actions section.
He continued by referring to the section on strengthening supervisory actions in this directive, saying: In this section, emphasis is placed on the regular monitoring of the goods and services market and serious supervision of the quality and price of goods and services, the obligation of all subordinate agencies to comply with the provisions of the Citizen's Rights Charter and continuous supervision of honoring compatriots and responding to and following up on public complaints, continuous inspection and supervision of compliance with health and safety issues in activities and also the services provided by food supply centers, restaurants, beach resorts, etc., and applying the necessary supervision on roadside centers and accommodation centers through continuous inspections.
The head of the Tourism Development and Travel Services Headquarters of the country's free zones referred to the strengthening of public services in this directive and added: In this regard, emphasis is placed on the full activation of emergency centers, hospitals, pharmacies, and medical centers for 24-hour reception and provision of medical services to compatriots and the establishment of rescue and relief bases on routes and communication axes and the obligation of all automakers and affiliated representatives to provide services at reasonable costs to Nowruz travelers 24 hours a day on roads and routes and within cities.
Mazinani continued: In the section on strengthening security and law enforcement measures in this directive, emphasis is placed on making the necessary coordination to ensure public security on routes and roads, parks, public places, and cultural, recreational, welfare, accommodation centers, and tourist destinations, and enhancing awareness and safety and security measures and increasing patrols to ensure the security of residential, commercial, service places, especially recreational and tourist areas.
The Deputy of Cultural, Social, and Tourism Affairs of the Supreme Council of Free Zones of the country stated that cultural actions and enhancing social vitality are other topics that have been given special attention in this directive, saying: In this section, emphasis is placed on planning and holding cultural events and using this capacity for tourism development, enhancing the quantity and quality of social and cultural programs in cities and villages, and developing the implementation of cultural and artistic programs in public places and pathways of cities.
The head of the Tourism Development and Travel Services Headquarters of the country's free zones stated that this directive emphasizes transparent information dissemination of the actions and services of executive agencies in various fields by utilizing the capacity of local and national publications and media and using modern technologies to introduce tourism capacities and capabilities, adding: The worthy celebration of the nights of Qadr, the martyrdom of Imam Ali (A), and national and religious occasions during Nowruz and special attention to the slogan of the year and, of course, the commemoration of the Islamic Republic Day (April 1) are other topics of the notified directive.
